Obelisk's first HR event took place on September 13, 2022. During the day program, participants were introduced to "the new learning." In addition, L&D and HR professionals were able to try out 2 hybrid learning tracks.
The evening program was provided by Obelisk, ClimIT and Multimedi. Four keynote speakers inspired the audience on the future of work. Afterwards, participants were able to network in the presence of the band Walkman Zero and a food truck.

As an HR professional, these are challenging times: how do you pursue a learning policy and learning paths with sustainable impact on your talents? Especially as online has become the new normal. Many different puzzle pieces are important when creating a strong learning track, such as: what do you do individually, and what in group? What do you do digitally and what do you do in real life? And what about combining webinars and skills trainings?
During the day program, participants were able to experience for themselves what a hybrid learning track looks and feels like. This in order to help them make thoughtful choices for training in their organization. The themes were "working together" and "giving feedback". 2 hybrid learning tracks with some well-chosen elements.
The events take place at AEtelier at the research park of Haasrode. AEtelier is located near Leuven and is easily accessible via the E40. There is ample free parking available and the building is wheelchair accessible. AEtelier is also easily accessible by public transport. The 'Haasrode Philips' bus stop is right in front of the door. From Leuven station it is only 20 minutes by bus to our location.

Catering and event planning is provided by 3Hoog. The former Philips building, including the production halls, was completely renovated and converted into a multifunctional event location. The business center also houses the offices of Obelisk, AE and KOMPOSE.
How do you make sure you are prepared now for the organization and work context of the future? On September 13 we brought together a community of guests who have 1 goal in common: to be prepared for the future in organizational management and HR. "Back to the future" was the central theme: what do we learn from HR from the past, present and future? Participants were introduced to inspiring keynotes.Speakers were:Michiel Vanthoor (Google Benelux), Nicky Dries (Professor of Organizational Behavior , KU Leuven), Yan Ketelers (OG studio) and Oelerie Van Assche (GoodHabitz).
