Big theoretical blocks? Not so. At Obelisk, practice and experience take center stage, while theory stays in the background. Our hands-on approach lets participants apply theory directly for maximum transfer.
Collaboration and leadership: for these themes, Solid Talent turned to Obelisk. The consulting organization of engineering and administrative experts decided to focus on mutual cooperation and growth in the management team, as well as on a lived vision of leadership and the development of leadership competencies.
Our supervisors Helen Goovaerts and Annelies Steenbeke started this process with individual intakes with each member of the management team. What is going well now? What can be improved? This gave them the first trends to work on throughout the project.
During a first workshop, the management team dealt with the theme of cooperation. Communication, feedback, trust and getting to know each other in a different way were central. To explore the mutual dynamics, metaphors were used: types of vehicles, with strengths and weaknesses. This way, the team looked at itself, to then ask the question how a management team in an ideal situation can be at the wheel of a growing organization. After all, a strong team dares to take a critical look at itself from time to time.
